Peacefully at the Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg on Monday January 4th, 2010 in his 98th year. Robert Fisher beloved husband of Helene McCabe. Dear father of Constance McQuillan of County Louth, Ireland, Susan of Port Hope, Jane Hunter of Grand Cayman Island, Grant of Toronto and John of Georgetown. Son of the late The Honourable Mr. Justice Robert Grant Fisher and Elsie Hobbs. He will be missed by his 10 grandchildren and his 5 great grandchildren. Robert served as a lieutenant with the Royal Canadian Regiment in Italy during World War II. A memorial service will be held at the Ross Funeral Chapel, 135 Walton St., Port Hope on Saturday January 9th at 11:30 a.m.
